On the 15th of January, Voices of Democracy (VOD) Minister of Foreign Affairs Max Sincoff announced VOD completely shutting off all relations with SimDem, arguing that after the recent influx of new members, SimDem has become fully unrecognizable from only a few months ago.
Following this, threats of war quickly rose from SimDem’s populace, which were quickly denounced by both sides. The SimDem government had to clarify that one of their members who “joined VOD only to send feet pics” was a terrorist and not at all exemplary for the rest of the nation.
In response, VOD quickly back paddled on their previous statements, clarifying that the relations with SimDem were not closed and that they would very much like to keep the close relations between both the servers. Additionally, the VOD government publicly apologized for their misjudgement of the new SImDem populace, having believed it to be openly hostile towards them.
Finally, on the next day, after four long hours of negotiations, both Foreign Affairs Departments settled on a year-long non-aggression-pact to be proposed to both sides’ senate.
