The Lemon Party and the
Traditional Insurgency for Defense and Enforcement

Yesterday, on the 21st of June, multiple accounts joined the internal Lemon Party discord server. This included dogatrogue1323 (aka ready2endrose), bbcuba_ (aka bbq) and nf19_1_, who then continued to spam the server with the usual stuff. Many members assumed this to be a coordinated raid by the Traditional Insurgency for Defense and Enforcement, which then later was confirmed by the organization claiming the attack via intentionally “leaking” a document detailing the plan to raid the Lemon Party and doxx its members.

Due to structural systems in the server’s moderation system, the response to this raid wasn’t as swift as it should’ve been, with the accounts only being removed and banned 6 whole hours after the raid began. Party Operator Average787Enjoyer commented the following on the issue:

“I suppose I didn’t think this server would have to handle a fucking TIDE attack”
Since then, structural changes have been made to the LP discord to be more prepared for potential future attacks. Additionally, the event has been reported to the League of Servers, which swiftly put the individuals in question onto their watchlist.

Lastly, while many LP-members saw this event as confirmation for Nf19 being a member of the organization, it has to be mentioned that the username of the raider (Nf19_1_) doesn’t exactly match the one of the account he used to use for SimDemocracy (Nf19_1). Whether or not this is another attempt to falsely paint Nf19 as a member of the organization, or rather to vindicate him by making this seem exactly like that, is unclear. If someone wanted to learn more about this, I’d recommend the news article “Nf19 is Innocent - It Was All a TIDE Plot” by Nf19, which (biasedly) reports on the issue.
