After a few minor technical difficulties with the bot used to host internal party elections, the Lemon Party has finally elected a new Leadership Council (“Lemon Blossoms”).
Four candidates declared their candidacy, but there were only three winners, namely:
@hazzy111 (Hazzy),
@busiedcomb (Aerospace Enjoyer), and
@cheezcake1101 (Chezcake)
The Lemon Party’s Leadership Council is responsible for passing party-bylaws and appointing the Party Leader (“Lemon Fruit”).
This second point is of rather high importance at the moment due to the last Party Leader (Medmouse) being on a Self-Exclusion-Order in SimDem for about three months, and thus having stepped down as Party Leader.
The Councilors settled on electing Hazzy, a long-standing member of the SimDem community who joined before the Danyowave and just recently rejoined the server, as the new Party Leader. Two votes were cast in favour of him by Chezcake and Hazzy himself, and only one vote in favour of Aerospace Enjoyer.
