On the 2nd of July, ex-Senator Xi4 submitted a request for a writ of Habeas Corpus on behalf of Guava, whose ban he believed to no longer be legal.

On the 13th of April, Guava was banned by Discord Supervisor Hackerman. The next day, SDBI Director Fede went on to request a retroactive Emergency-Counter Terrorism Powers Order (ECTPO) as per the Guaranteeing Equal Enforcement of the ToS Act (GEETSA).

The GEETSA specifies that every person banned under an ECTPO for terrorism needs to be given a trial within one month. This did not happen, as the Department of Justice didn’t submit a Criminal Complaint in the relevant timeframe.

Thus, the Judge assigned to the case, Terak, ordered the government to immediately unban Guava, as the continued upholding of his ban was deemed illegal.

After rejoining the discord server, Guava was immediately arrested by the SDBI for Terrorist Conspiracy. The Judge who approved the arrest warrant was the same one to grant the writ of Habeas Corpus: Terak. As evidence, the reporting officer provided a screenshot of Guava talking to someone else in private messages, admitting that he was a member of a terrorist organization.
